The Delhi government has decided to launch a massive tree plantation drive under its "greening Delhi" plan for the year 2001-2002. According to an action plan prepared to carry out this plan, around 10 lakh trees and 12.58 lakh shrubs will be planted by various government agencies and local bodies throughout the year in various parts of the Capital.
