The Central Government in all likelihood would approach the Supreme Court to seek six months' to settle issues - including finalisation of the local area plan with Master Plan for Delhi 2021 and identifying roads and areas for commercial activity under the new mixed land use policy. The plea would be moved jointly by Ministry of Urban Development, Delhi Government and Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to provide relief to the people of Delhi from sealing and demolition drive of civic body. The Ministry has prepared a strategy on how to approach the issue in order to get maximum relief for people of Delhi.
