The Government would be soon taking up the first rehabilitation package based on the National Rehabilitation Policy, which is being finalised. This follows the deliberations of the Inter Ministerial Committee (IMC) on the Tehri Dam Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) package as proposed by the Hanumantha Rao Committee.
