Wood-based industries have appealed the government to allow corporates to undertake industrial plantations to help industries to meet their raw material requirements, they said. This was stated by Vikram Thapar, joint managing director of Ballarpur Industries, told an Assocham workshop on 'Greening of Wastelands' held in New Delhi.
