Close on the heels of the Taj Heritage corridor project comes another scam in Uttar Pradesh where Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's much-hyped Golden Quadrilateral project has been derailed following blockage of a service road connecting the starting point of the project. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) board documents show that the land use of about 21,305.80 sq feet was flouted to construct PAC barracks.
