Green cause steps out of class - Eco Network in schools back after 4 years, but more real Jamshedpur, April 19: Students of private English medium schools in the steel city will now have to step outside classrooms for a green cause. After a gap of four years, Eco Network, a group of 25 schools, has got together to re-start the Eco Network Rolling Trophy that encourages schools to initiate eco-friendly activities at the grassroots level and outside the classrooms. The Eco Network started in 2002 for schools with an Eco Club. Activities stopped in 2007, but now the network plans to begin fresh with meaningful activities. So far, students have taken part in a painting competition, but this does not satisfy authorities.
