Deeply anguished over the rapid erosion of green cover in the Chennai city and the fate of the much hyped Green Belt for Abatement of Pollution in Greater Chennai, Tamil Nadu about 30 resident welfare associations and honorary tree wardens in the city came together to form the Exnora Green Protection Council with a view to aggressively push forward the 'green agenda'.
