Alarmed over the death of a large number of trees in the Capital in the recent past, the Union Urban Development Ministry has issued directions to the Delhi Government for setting up a Central Resource Centre to aid and advise the civic bodies and other development agencies dealing with horticulture and landscaping. It has also suggested drafting of a manual in this regard.
