Following the successful implementation of the Hyderabad greenbelt project, the Hyderabad urban development authority (Huda) will launch 'Green Hyderabad project' with Dutch assistance on April 1, 2001, to take up plantation in 13,550 hectares in the twin cities and surrounding rual areas.
