The first phase of the 'Green Kurukshetra' campaign, launched by the local Geeta Niketan residential Senior Secondary School, was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner, Mr Abhilaksh Likhi, by planting a bourgainvillea sapling near Surya Gate, Sannihit Sarovar, here today.
