Passers-by on the Tiruchi-Thanjavur highway and those who visit the Tiruchi BHEL for the first time often fail to locate the giant Navarathna industrial complex and the well laid out township for, the entire area is almost camouflaged by tall trees, and multicolored flowering plants. The BHEL, which has been going all out to improve its competitive skills to meet world standards, has paid equal attention to keep the environment green and clean, and is on the threshold of having one million trees on its 3000-acre campus.
