The Karnataka State Government has given the green signal for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to conduct a feasibility study on providing a mass rapid transit system for Bangalore city. Chief Minister S M Krishna said the Centre would give 40 per cent of funds for the project, while the state would have to bear the remaining 60 per cent.
