The 'controversial' Tipaimuk dam to be built on the conjunction of Manipur, Mizoram and Assam has started getting positive response from the respective governments. A tripartite committee was held in Aizawl at the District Commissioner's office among the state government officials, North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) officials along with the residents of the area who would be evacuated for the construction of the dam.
