On January 15th a number of sustainable transport advocates, under the banner of the UN NGO transport caucus, held a meeting with Global Environment Fund (GEF) staff to comment on the GEF paper "Draft Operational Program No. 11: Promoting Sustainable Transport Infrastructure". The final document should be ready by November. The GEF is administered by the World Bank and focusses on projects in developing countries that aim to reduce climate change.
