More environmentalists feel that a sanctuary or forest area should not be used for releasing domesticated animals. Reacting to the green signal by the Delhi Government for the bear sanctuary project in Asola forest, environment activists termed the move scientifically wrong. Many felt that the bear proposal was flawed and the Government, in clearing the project, had erred.
