The Infocity the Gujarat government is planning to set up on the sprawling 200 acres of the government land near Gandhinagar may lead to the felling of about 40,000 trees. Though the government is yet to send a formal proposal to the Forest Department to fell these trees, it has reportedly directed Gandhinagar district forest authorities to survey the land.
