If Delhi Transport Minister Rajendra Gupta has his way, nearly 600 noxious fume-spewing Harley Davidsons will soon be off the road. While the idea is to combat vehicular pollution, the minister plans to replace them with 15-seater buses. Incidentally, these also run on diesel. The ambitious project will be formally announced in the next two days, even as various other pollution-free transport schemes have fallen by the wayside.
