Haryana Govt. unable to check child labour practices: Report

Despite announcing education as the Fundamental Right of children in Indian Constitution, more than 25,000 children in Gurgaon are earning bread and butter for themselves and their families. According to a survey conducted jointly by Private and Government agency, the children who have not ever gone to the schools, either work as rag pickers, dish washers at Dhabas, or are a part of the snake charmers troupe or work as domestic helps. This was disclosed by the Executive Director of a Social Organisation 'Anand Bharti', Ms Veena Nanda.
