The Delhi High Court has directed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to take action against such residential properties which are being put to commercial use, flouting sanctioned building bylaws. Passing the order in a petition filed by a resident of South Delhi's Greater Kailash colony, the Division Bench of acting Chief Justice BA Khan and Justice Madan B Lokur warned, "if suitable action is not initiated within one month we will be forced to constitute a supervisory committee consisting of eminent persons to look into the matter."
