The Delhi High Court has asked the Environment Ministry and DDA to explain why the proposal of outer Delhi villagers suggesting an alternative to the Rs 200-crore DDA road project linking three national highways through their colonies cannot be considered. The villagers have proposed an alternative and "financially viable" route that has the Delhi Pollution Control Committee nod.
