The Delhi High Court has given an extension of three months to the Muncipal corporation of Delhi to complete the scrutiny of hawkers' applications for licenses. Mr Justice Manmohan Sarin gave reprieve to the MCD after its standing counsel, Mr S Mukherjee, told the court that corporation had so far received 17000 applications from vendors and hawkers.
