The Karnataka High Court today reserved its judgment on a criminal petition filed by B L Diwakar, brother of former minister B al Shankar, seeking direction to quash the criminal proceedings against before a magistrate's court at Mudigere in Chickmaglur district, for alleged encroachment of forest land. Mr Justice B K Sangalad passed the order after completing the hearing on the petition.
