This is only the beginning of a long lasting test. But it is a good beginning. The chief minister of West Bengal, Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, ably assisted the minister for health, Mr Surya Kanta Mishra, and the commerce and industry minister, Mr Nirupam Sen, has not only evolved a plan to "clean up" the health care system, but it also seems they are going to be successful in putting it into effect.
