Andhra Pradesh continued to reel under severe heat wave conditions for the second consecutive day on Thursday even as six sunstroke deaths were reported from different districts. In all, 11 persons have died in the last two days. District administrations rushed to take precautionary measures like distribution of ORS sachets at primary health centres and hospitals. But as met officials informed that the temperatures might subside by Friday evening, emergency measures such as relaxing work hours for labourers would be taken up for consideration as per the developing situation, Krishna district collector Babu A said.
