Heatwave death toll is now over 140 in Russia

Forest fires raged on the outskirts of Moscow and in several other regions on Friday as the death toll from Russia's biggest heatwave of the century rose to more than 140.In the Moscow region, some 126 fires engulfed 145 hectares of forest and bush while 200 hectares were burning near St. Petersburg, the ministry of emergency situations said.
