Members of public at Hebri, Mangalore, staged a demonstration urging the authorities to withdraw the Someshwar and Mookambika reserve forest plans. The Anti Reserve Forest Struggle Committee which spearheaded the agitation, said that many families were living in Someshwar and Mookambika forests.
