After dragging its feet for a long time and spending more than Rs 17 crore, the Heritage Corridor project being construction on the Yamuna river in Agra has finally begun to take shape. If the project is going to look like as shown in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) by the National Projects Construction Corporation (NPCC), it would bring Agra into the category of popular river side resort cities like the Sun City in South Africa. The flow of the Yamuna is being diverted in accordance with the plans submitted to the State Government. The project plans to turn the pathwa alongside Yamuna known as Yamuna Kinara into a corridor linking all the riverside monuments of Agra.
