The heritage conservation movement in Mumbai has taken another step forward after a long lull with the urban heritage conservation committee finalising a set of development regulations for the Gamdevi heritage precinct in South Mumbai. It has also classified the bulk of the precinct's vintage buildings into heritage grades.
