Come December and you can expect a traffic fiasco between Moolchand and Ambedkar Nagar, where Transport Minister Ajay Maken's dream high-capacity buses will start rolling. There will be no Blueline or DTC service on the stretch. The three-lane each Up or Down corridors will be reduced to two lanes for motorcyclists, autos, cars, school and chartered buses, the occasional baraat procession and the stray elephant. Maken's dream project is based on a research at IIT. The system's success elsewhere is being talked about without considering the realities of Delhi.
