The Delhi High Court has issued contempt notices to Municipal Corporation of Delhi's (MCD) Additional Commissioner (Slum Wing) RM Pillai to appear before the court for its failure to clear a massive slum abutting the Capital's arterial Ring Road near Bhairon Road. A Division Bench of Justices Vijender Jain and Rekha Sharma issued notices after examining the replies filed by three other top officials on the issue in response to an earlier contempt notice issued by the Bench.
