Delhi High Court refused to entertain an application filed by five farmhouses that sought to open bookings for marriages owing to the season rush. The court, while dismissing the plea, stated that citizens were equally responsible for violating the law which banned marriages in farmhouses. Division Bench of Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Rekha Sharma dismissed the plea put forth by five farmhouses situated at Vasant Kunj, namely Star Garden, Nivedita, Subhav, Green Village and Sagar Garden.
