The Maharashtra government's plan to rehabilitate post-1995 and pre-2000 slum dwellers has hit a roadblock. The Bombay High Court refused to entertain an application by the state to rehabilitate 5,645 families at villages in Kalyan and Ambernath, and asked them to approach the regular court.
