The Economic survey for Delhi for the year 2005-06 was released recently by the Delhi's finance and planning minister AK Walia. The survey that provides analytical data for a large number of sectors like public finance, prices, environment , industries, energy, transport, groundwater quality, urban development , sanitation education, health , social welfare, rural development trade and commerce may boast of many figures including the tax revenue, GDP and increase in the per capita income, but the report on the quality of groundwater has left many flabbergasted.
