The issue of highway development would figure prominently in India-United States discussions, when US president George Bush visits the country in early March, according to highly-placed sources. Mr Bush is expected to be accompanied by a 170-strong delegation, which would include consultants and representatives of infrastructure companies. Ministry sources said that though the finer details of the proposed meetings have not been finalised, the working groups of both countries would be deciding on the same. The working groups on highway development and manpower training were set up, when roads and highways minister TR Baalu visited the US, last year.
