Undeterred by the poor response of tourists to sight-seeing flights, the Himachal Tourism Development Corporation is planning to organise "jeep safaris" with an eye on summer tourists. Originating from Chandigarh, the "safari" will pass through Narkanda, Rampur, Sarhan, Kalpa, Nako, Tabo and Manali to terminate at Chandigarh.
