Hindustan Motors is working on a war footing to supply Euro-II compliant cars in the market. Company sources said the recent directive by the West Bengal governemnt that said no new cars would be allowed to be registered in the state which did not fulfill Euro-II standards after April, 2000 had been taken into consideratin and experiments were on full swing to meet the deadline.
