Hyundai Motor India Ltd(HMIL) has stepped up production of its Euro--II compliant Santro cars following increased demand from other cities. "Apart from Delhi, Calcutta and Bangalore, there has been a sudden increase in the demand for these cars from other cities like Hyderabad, Pune and Amritsar," HMIL director (marketing and sales) BVR Subbu told reporters at Mumbai on Friday.
