Minister for Information N Siva Prasad has today announced that Holland and Italy has come forward to execute Urban Slums Development Programme in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking as chief guest at the one-day workshop Municipal Action Plan for Eduction of Poverty' organised by the AP Urban Slums Project, Prasad said the State government is very keen to undertake poverty eradication programmes in urban areas on a warfooting, for which Rs 745 crore funding from DFID had been chanelised in 32 municipalities in the State.
