Honda Motor Co. Ltd said it and its subsidiary Yachiyo Industry Co Ltd have jointly developed vehicle fuel tanks that do not contain lead. Honda plans to stop using lead completely in vehicle fuel tanks by 2003 through use of existing plastic tanks and the new fuel tanks.
