The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr.Bhupinder Singh Hooda, said in Chandiagrh today that the canal water would be equitably distributed among all areas of the state.Addressing his first press conference after becoming the Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr Hooda said the government would work for all comunities.The unequal distribution of canal water has been a sensitive and emotive issue in southern Haryana. Politicians of the area have been alleging that Hisar, Sirsa and part of Jind districts were getting more than their due share in the canal water.
