Dry Winds From Rajasthan Making Temperature Rise TIMES NEWS NETWORK New Delhi: The season of sweltering heat has begun. For the first time this year, temperatures touched the 40-degree mark with the maximum temperature on Tuesday recorded at 40.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal. The minimum was 23.9 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal. Met officials, however, have predicted hotter days ahead with no sign of rain before this weekend.
