A huge stockpile of timbers worth about Tk 10 crore are being rotten in deep forest of the Bandarban district as those could not be taken out due to a government ban on transportation. Owners of the timbers alleged that they cannot take out the timbers logged from their own lands in the forest due to the restriction imposed two months back.
