While our armed forces are busy battling infiltrators from across the border, the Indian Air Force (IAF) is facing infiltration of a different kind -- at home in Bangalore in India's 'aviation capital.' Going by statistics over the last two and-a-half years, sandalwood poachers seem to have struck a goldmine inside IAF premises in Jalahalli. Incredibly, poachers have succeeded in sneaking into this prohibited area over 13 times, under the very nose of IAF securitymen, and stealing a large number of sandalwood trees.
