The Integrated Child Development Scheme in Midnapore Sadar block of West Midnapore district, sponsored by the Centre and sanctioned by the West Bengal government six years ago, is yet to be started. The delay is due to the indifferent attitude of the district social welfare department' Mr Purnendu Sengupta, the local CPI MLA and chiarman of the project's selection committee said.
