SP ordered to appear in court:A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court has issued an oral direction to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Ernakulam, to appear in court in person. The direction is on the basis of the allegation that he had not effectively prevented illegal sand mining from Periyar, in compliance with a court order on December 20, 2000.
