The crusade against child labour in Hyderabad is poised to acquire more strength what with the International Labour Organisation(ILO) joining the bandwagon of NGOs and other associations working against the pernicious practice. The ILO, which had been working in rural Andhra Pradesh till now, is bringing its International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour to the Hyderabad city by entering into partnerships with sectoral business associations like NGOs, Lions Clubs, Rotary Clubs, trade unions and other civil society organisations to promote convergent action against child labour.
