Phaseout schedule of choloro flurocarbons in India : The government of India is set to announce the industry specific phase out schedule for chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and other ozone depleting substances to meet the deadline set by the Montreal Protocol, to which India is a signatory. Under the draft notification finalized by the Union environment ministry , the domestic fire extinguisher segment has the earliest deadline of January 1,2000.
