Impact of war being watched, says Pant

Planning Commission deputy chairman, K C Pant said on Saturday, the United States' attack on Iraq and its fallout, would have to be watched and suitable measures taken when the need arose. Speaking on the war's impact on the Indian economy, Mr Pant said, oil import, export and foreign remittance are being monitored to take stock of the situation but it was surely too early to "say anything" substantial.
