Netam : Tiger population in Madhya Pradesh has gone up from 912 to 927 between 1993 and 1997 . Forests minister Shiv Netam informed the meeting of State Wildlife Advisory Board here on Saturday. The meeting also decided not to fell trees infested with sal borer pest in the protected areas of national prks, including the Kanha national park, and sanctuaries and study for a year the progress or regression in the infestation.
