India has joined an international programme aimed at helping scientists, teachers and students to study and research the dynamics of the earth's environment.The programme called 'Global Learning and Observation to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE)'is expected to particularly help students in enhancing their awareness of the environment and provide opportunities to explore it in collaboration with their counterparts as also scientists and teachers in different parts of the world.
